Calissons d'Aix en Provence

Calissons d'Aix en Provence are French petits-fours, traditionally served with tea or coffee. Created to celebrate the marriage of King René to Jeanne de Laval in 1454, the time-honoured recipe remains unchanged: melon confit, orange zest and almonds, blended together into a fine paste and layered with a sugar and almond icing.  The perfect gift to treat someone special!  Net weight 110g.
